Morphology and Anatomy:

All stages: Excretory pore situated very posteriorly (65-85% of body length); pore surrounded by small, irregularly shaped lobes; excretory duct directed forward. 

Females: Fixed into the root by anterior part of body.  Body slightly crescent-shaped.  

Vulva posterior, but not terminal.    Postvulval region short, tapering, ventrally curved and bluntly rounded in T. semipenetrans); almost straight, conoid, finely rounded in T. furcus.

Anus obscure or absent (T. semipenetrans).  

No uterine cyst.  

Males: Stylet degenerate. 

No penial tube.  

Lateral field with two lines (T. semipenetrans) or two plus two faint inner lines (T. furcus).
