Morphology and Anatomy:

  Female:  575-700m long, 210-290m wide. Pearly white color, protruding neck and prominent vulval cone.

 

Considered a member of the "goettingiana" group.

Cyst:  Light to dark brown, elongate, ovoid, ambifenestrate with weak underbridge.  No egg sac, eggs retained in cyst.

 

Male:  Typical of genus.

J2:  500m long, rounded stylet knobs.

Reported from Hyderabad, India.

Feeding:

Sedentary semi-endoparasite of roots, feeding patterns typical of genus Heterodera.

Hosts:

Described from roots of bulb grass, Cyperus bulbosus Vab. Establishes feeding sites on both roots and tubers.
